Bath Tub Springs Wildife Area

The Vision: Bath Tub Springs is a unique spring-fed wetland area located in the northeast end of the Grizzly Ranch development. Historically, a rancher installed an old bathtub as a watering trough for his cattle which remains today. Though cattle no longer graze the meadows within Grizzly Ranch, the natural spring attracts a diverse variety of birds and other wildlife which makes it ideal for birdwatching and the quiet enjoyment of nature at its finest. A conceptual plan was developed that includes a primitive trail, interpretive signage, birdfeeders and benches for birdwatching.

The trail and benches have not been installed but you can access the site off of north Grizzly Ranch Road to view the bathtub spring and the abundant and diverse bird community.
